The Scripture Citation Index is the mobile version of scriptures.byu.edu.
This app lets you navigate easily between the scriptures (standard works of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, etc.) and the General Conference talks and other writings that cite those scriptures.
For example, you can see who has cited 1 Timothy 4:12 or Daniel 2:44 in General Conference (1942-present), in the Journal of Discourses, or in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith.

Thanks for putting thousands of hours into this very useful, well designed tool.
Fantastic source of relevant info. Love using it in class on Sunday. Some older material is actually retained on your device while more recent talks are pushed live from BYU. If you dont have wifi access you may not be able to read all the articles.
Some bad moments
Ive had this app downloaded for months. I love the idea, and find the website really useful. But the app has yet to open. It shows the loading page and crashes. Im ready to give up on it.
I like that I can look up a scripture to see where its used. But there are a few things Id like to see in a future update:
1) Ability to have the app stay on a talk I stead of going to the front screen when the app leaves the foreground.
2) A setting that makes the app default to opening up my Gospel Library app to the talk or scripture instead of displaying the talk in the apps own view. This way, I can more easily take advantage of the Gospel Library apps interface and features.
3) A button that lets me jump right to the paragraph or section where the talk I selected uses the scripture I selected.
It has been so useful in making scripture study more interesting.

Amazing resource. Every scripture, many sets. Of verses together or separately. You do not have to use just the "well known." You have the ability now to quickly find the perfect background quote or easy access to what the apostles and prophets of this dispensation have to say about any scripture.
